Bárbara Eugênia is an artist, holistic therapist, channeler, astrologer, student of life's mysteries devoted to spreading love in the form of music.

Born in Brazil under Leo with Aries rising and Moon in Gemini, she's a singer-songwriter, producer, and DJ whose music blends Brazilian rhythms, folk, rock, and electronic influences. She began her career in 2008 and has since released nine albums—seven solo and two collaborative projects.

Her debut album Journal de BAD earned her a lot of media attention and buzz.

Bárbara’s musical journey started when she recorded the soundtrack for the film O Cheiro do Ralo (2006) by Heitor Dahlia. Shortly after, she was in a band that paid tribute to Serge Gainsbourg created by guitar hero Edgard Scandurra, performing alongside Arnaldo Antunes, Juliana R., Wanderlea, Marisa Orth, Jaques Morelenbaum, among many others. She was also part of 3namassa, a project featuring members of the legendary Brazilian band Nação Zumbi and producer Rica Amabis.

Her first collaborative album, Aurora (2014), was produced with fellow São Paulo musician Chankas. In 2017 came Vida Ventureira, a project created with underground music icon Tatá Aeroplano. After 2014, Bárbara took on the role of producer in her own albums, starting to produce for other artists and doing soundtracks as well.

In addition to all that, Bárbara has embraced the retro-futuristic persona called DJane Fonda (born as a dj in São Paulo's vibrant nightlife scene) and since 2021, she's been recording electronic tracks under that name.

In 2022, she relocated to Portugal, where she has deepened her exploration of spirituality and released her first album of medicine music at the end of 2023.

Bárbara’s work continues to explore the realms of love in all its forms, experimenting with sound and genre while staying rooted in her Brazilian heritage. She has performed at various festivals and Ecstatic Dance events, delivered sound journey sessions, and different workshops showcasing her music’s ability to heal and connect.
