Bárbara Eugênia is a singer-songwriter, producer, and DJ. She began her career in 2008 and has released seven solo albums and two collaborative albums. Since 2014, Barbara has been co-producing her own albums, as well as producing for other artists and OST. She has participated in various festivals, TV and radio programs, and has toured in Europe and the USA.
In 2014, she won the Multishow Brazilian Music Award for her rendition of "Porque Brigamos," a Neil Diamond classic immortalized by romantic brazilian singer Diana, and her song "Coração" was featured on the soundtrack of the soap opera "Velho Chico."
Exploring the realms of love in all its expressions, her music incorporates Brazilian rhythms, folk, rock, and electronic music. With these diverse influences, experimentation is always present. Since 2021, she has been presenting as DJane Fonda, a retro-futuristic persona born as a DJ in the São Paulo nightlife scene, who also works as a producer.
Living in Portugal since 2022, she has been increasingly open about her spirituality. She released her first album of medicine music at the end of 2023 and has participated in various events and festivals, contributing her music to sound journey sessions, concerts and ecstatic dance dj sets.
In Holistics
Bárbara was born in Brazil and currently lives in Lisbon. She's been working as an artist in music for over 15 years, while simultaneously deepening her knowledge and practices of holistic therapies. It started with Yoga and Meditation, and soon after she was initiated into Reiki, volunteering for several years at a Tibetan Buddhism center in São Paulo. During her adolescence, she began channeling, but it was only as an adult that she fully understood this gift and committed to herself to service. Following the path of self-awareness and sharing her tools with the world, she studied Astrology, Taoist Internal Alchemy and Qi Gong, Ayurvedic Yoga Massage, Sound Alchemy, and Sound Healing. Currently, she's dedicated to developing and offering journeys and sessions for self-awareness, rememberance and expansion, aiming at activating primordial memory, consciousness, and awakening.
